The program engages a range of technologies such as, telecommunications, fundamentals of networking, cloud system, could security, internet of the things, 5G network, Digital Transformation and data systems aimed to help cities make better decisions to improve their efficiency by using the technological solutions which is also in line with Oman Vision 2040. The program will explain about the Smart infrastructure and construction combine physical infrastructure assets and construction processes with digital technologies.

The resulting smart infrastructure has the ability to influence and direct its own delivery, use, maintenance and support by responding intelligently to changes its environment. principally composed of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), to develop, deploy, and promote sustainable development practices to address growing development challenges. A big part of this ICT framework is essentially an intelligent network of connected objects and machineries that transfer data using wire & wireless technology and cloud system.

Evaluation and selection

Vital aspect of any sort of evaluation is its effect on the person being evaluated. We will support to evaluate the candidate before the enrollment and for period of 3 months from the date of graduation in order to ensure that the selected candidate fits the position and “ROI return on Investment” is worth in terms of increasing the percentage of Omanization with perfect capabilities and skills.

Course Outcomes

Apprenticeship Program is designed to develop a range of skills including technical abilities relevant to specific job roles. To ensure they build a rounded set of skills and competencies. Apprentices are assessed on their:

Work Ethics and Social Soft Skills
Practical competence, usually through a Light Brigade qualification and other assessment on students’ performance by ETA
Transferable skills known as ‘functional skills’, which can include Math, English and Information Communication Technology
Knowledge, usually through an international technical qualification
Personal reflective skills, thinking skills, Independent learning skills, Research skills and Collaborative learning skills
Knowledge of employment rights and responsibilities, and relevant health and safety and equality and diversity requirements
