Spectrum Monitoring Fundamentals Training

The training course “Spectrum Monitoring Fundamentals” introduces the participants to the basic principles of radio spectrum monitoring and highlights the main topics of the operational tasks. The course focuses on signal environment fundamentals with radio wave propagation and modulation methods. Radio wave propagation as well as anomalous propagation and its effects are introduced and described; required measurement equipment (e.g. antenna, receiver, direction finder) is explained together with an introduction to operation principles and related methods and algorithms.

Who should attend?

  • This training is designed to address technical staff from policy makers, regulators, corporate executives and managers, i.e. middle- level managers, administrators and officials dealing with Spectrum Monitoring
